Mr Ydgren alleged that Mr Walkinshaw used his whip excessively in the run home in Race 6, the DON CUTTANCE MEMORIAL PACE, when driving MINSTREL BOY.
Mr Ydgren demonstrated that as the horse turned for home and in the run home Mr Walkinshaw used his whip some 26 or 27 times. The majority of the strikes were to the sulky rather than to the horse.
