Hearing Type (Code):
harness-racing
Meet Title:
Forbury Park TC - 14 December 2007
Race Date:
2007/12/14
Race Number:
Race 3
Decision:
Mr Hamilton admitted a breach of rule 849(2) in that he presented ELLEN’S BEAUTY in the birdcage in race 3 with the incorrect saddlecloth number.
Mr Hamilton admitted a breach of rule 849(2) in that he presented ELLEN’S BEAUTY in the birdcage in race 3 with the incorrect saddlecloth number. I thus find the charge proved. Mr Hamilton also indicated by his mark on the information that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of the information.
--Mr Ydgren explained that the error had been detected before the horse reached the track and he sought a fine of $100. I am aware that $100 is the "standard penalty" for this minor breach of the Rules. Mr Hamilton has had no breaches of this rule this season and I am satisfied that this sum is appropriate. Mr Hamilton is fined the sum of $100.
