--Under Regulation 1 (b) Mr Hamilton was required to notify the Club Secretary of the driver change by 1.00pm on Wednesday 5 September. He did so at 9.00 am on Thursday 6 September once he realised his mistake when viewing the raceday fields on teletext, showing PAINTED CLOUD as being driven by Mr B Barclay who was not attending the meeting.
--There had been no communication between Mr Hamilton or Mr Barclay.
--Mr Allison recommended a fine of $25.00 for the breach.
