DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 6, the Heiniger Kiwi Xpress Mobile (PBD) Pace an information was laid by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre against Mr R. D. Holmes, the driver of "Lavros Heir" (10), alleging a breach of the "push out" rule.
--Mr Holmes had indicated on the information that he admitted this breach of the rules and he confirmed this at the hearing.
--PENALTY: Mr McIntyre advised that Mr Holmes had no previous relevant convictions. A fine of $200-00 was recommended. Mr Holmes did not have any submissions to make as to penalty and I was satisfied that a fine of $200-00 was appropriate. Mr Holmes was fined the sum of $200-00.
