Under Rule 870(3) and Breaking Horse Regulation: An information instigating a Protest was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr P Knowles alleging that No.1 MOSSDALE LISA driven by K N Larsen broke at the start and galloped in excess of 150 metres. Video evidence was shown. MOSSDALE LISA broke right at the start and apart from a very brief period, galloped all the way up the straight and past the winning post, The distance involved was well past the 200 metres. Mr Larsen in evidence said MOSSDALE LISA did not gain any advantaqge and briefly regained it's gait. The Chairman found the allegation proved and disqualified No.1 MOSSDALE LISA.
