An Information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr T W Taumanu instigating a protest against the 2nd placing of CHRISTIAN TROY driven by Mr S J Reid on the grounds of running out in the Home Straight causing interference to WOT THE OWL driven by Mr P Young.
--Mr Reid was present and represented the Owners and advised that the Protest was not contested.
--Mr Taumanu demonstrated the incident by use of the Video Films.
--Having viewed the Films I hereby relegate CHRISTIAN TROY from second place to behind WOT THE OWL and consequently promote the 3rd and 4th placed horses to 2nd and 3rd respectively.
--The amended placings are now 10, 12, 14, 9, 1 and 6.
