Mr Ching, stipendiary steward, alleged a breach of rule 508(2) and (5) in that Ms Johnston failed to declare a rider for UNINTENTIONAL in race 1 by the required time.



Mr Ching, stipendiary steward, alleged a breach of rule 508(2) and (5) in that Ms Johnston failed to declare a rider for UNINTENTIONAL in race 1 by the required time. She admitted the breach and indicated she did not wish to be present at the hearing.

Mr Ching stated that the trainer had said by way of explanation that she had simply forgotten. A rider was finally nominated at 10.45 am.

Ms Johnston has no previous breach of this Rule.  We are aware the “standard fine” is $50.  We impose a fine of $50.
