Information No. 67968 alleged a breach of the Notification of Drivers Regulation in that Licensed Public Trainers, Messrs T G Butt & P M Anderson, “failed to notify a driver for TAUBER [an acceptor for Race 10] by the time required by this regulation”.
--Mr A M Butt, as agent for Messrs Butt and Anderson, had signed the Statement by the Defendant on the information form indicating that the breach was admitted and, further, that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of the information. The breach was found proved accordingly.
--Mr Escott informed the Committee that a driver for TAUBER had not been notified by the required time, 4.00pm on Thursday, 9 April. He recommended a fine of $50.
--Messrs Butt and Anderson were fined the sum of $50.
