--Apprentice Miss D Johnson admitted a breach of Rule 871 (1) (d) in that she permitted her mount BORDERLAND to shift inwards in the straight when not sufficiently clear of ITALIANA

--Apprentice Miss D Johnson admitted a breach of Rule 871 (1) (d) in that she permitted her mount BORDERLAND to shift inwards in the straight when not sufficiently clear of ITALIANA, ridden by Miss S Spratt, taking that horse's rightful line of running. Trainer Mr Russell Cameron, who is Miss Johnson's employer, was present. Mr Oatham demonstrated the incident on the video, that the inward movement by BORDERLAND ridden by Miss D Johnson checked ITALIANA ridden by Miss S Spratt for 6 ? 7 strides and that no corrective measures were taken by Miss Johnson.
--Mr Coles made submissions on penalty in that Miss Johnson had been given a warning recently, but this was her first breach of this rule, emphasising that she did not stop riding and that a suspension of 3 northern days was warranted. Mr Cameron and Miss Johnson made no submissions.
--PENALTY
--The panel took these submissions into consideration including admission of the breach and that this was the first breach of this rule and suspended Miss D Johnson from riding from the conclusion of racing on Sunday 17th June until the conclusion of racing on Wednesday 27th June 2007. This for Miss Johnson was effectively a 3 day suspension.
