The Information alleged that trainer, Mr B Hancock, failed to affix the hopple shortner pins on SAND PEBBLES so as not to come adrift. This resulted in SAND PEBBLES breaking from its gait and causing a false start. Mr Hancock admitted the breach of Rule 864(2)(d), and did not wish to be present at the hearing of this Information. ----Decision and Reasons: ----The Judicial Committee having noted Mr Hancock's frank admission of the breach of this Rule imposed a fine of $200 in this instance. |
