An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr JM Muirhead against horseman Mr G Thompson the Driver of Nodnus alleging that Mr Thompson failed to maintain a clear access to the passing lane when in the lead with Nodnus

An information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr JM Muirhead against horseman Mr G Thompson the Driver of Nodnus alleging that Mr Thompson failed to maintain a clear access to the passing lane when in the lead with Nodnus which resulted in forcing Pablo Bromac (driver M White) to race over the Marker Line Pylons.
--Mr Thompson admitted the breach of the rule and did not wish to be present at the hearing.
--Mr Muirhead demonstrated the incident by use of the video film and I have the benefit of viewing the incident from several different angles. The film clearly showed Mr Thompson in the lead turning for home and it showed him running down into the passing lane taking the line of Pablo Bromac.
--In regards to penalty Mr Muirhead recommended a suspension of Mr Thompson’s Horseman’s License for 3 weeks and Mr Thompson did not contest that suggestion.
--I accordingly suspend Mr Thompson’s Horseman’s/Drivers License up to and including the 7th of December 2007.
