Following race 9 Mr R Neal alleged that Mr O Bosson, rider of SANGSTER, made a celebratory gesture prior to passing the winning post.
Submissions for Decision:
Mr Neal demonstrated the video films pointing out to the committee Mr Bosson rising in the saddle and making a celebratory gesture 2 strides before the post.
Mr Bosson, in admitting the breach, said it was just a case of over-exuberance.
Submissions for Penalty:
Mr Neal told the committee that this was Mr Bosson's first charge under this rule in the last 12 months and submitted a fine for a first breach would be $300.00.
Mr Bosson had nothing to add.
