Following the running of Race 5 (Headquarters Viaduct Nathans Memorial) Information No. A12143 was filed with the Judicial Committee. It was alleged by the Informant that Mr Cameron the Rider of GUNDOWN used his whip excessively.
Mr Cameron admitted the breach and signed the Information stating that he did not wish to be present at the hearing.
Mr Oatham showed the films and said that Mr Cameron hit his horse approximately 10 times without the required respite being given.

Mr Oatham said that the JCA Penalty Guideline for a second breach within 12 months was for a $500 fine. Mr Cameron’s first breach was on 19.01.19.
