Following race 8 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when it was alleged by the informant, Stipendary Steward Mr A Coles that at the winning post on the first occasion T Russell permitted UNCLE JIM to shift in carrying YOUNG ZEUS (S Spratt) in on to REDOUBTE?S DANCER (V Colgan), AMBITIOUS MASCOT (T Harris) and BONAICHI ( N Harris) which was severely checked.

Following race 8 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when it was alleged by the informant, Stipendary Steward Mr A Coles that at the winning post on the first occasion T Russell permitted UNCLE JIM to shift in carrying YOUNG ZEUS (S Spratt) in on to REDOUBTE?S DANCER (V Colgan), AMBITIOUS MASCOT (T Harris) and BONAICHI ( N Harris) which was severely checked.
--Mr Davidson demonstrated the video which clearly showed Mr Russell on his mount UNCLE JIM shifting across and dictating YOUNG ZEUS on to REDOUBTE?S DANCER and BONAICHI.
--As Mr Russell had admitted the charge the committee is only required to adjudicate on penalty.
--PENALTY: Mr Coles gave Russell's record of one suspension in the previous 12 months, and asked for a suspension of 3 days
--Mr Russell had nothing to add.
--After taking into account submissions, noting that the race had a Group 2 rating with a stake of $100,000, and that Mr Russell will be missing a Premier Day we impose a suspension from riding beginning from the conclusion of racing on 21 February till the conclusion of racing on 3 March 2007.
