Mr Cameron admitted the charge.
--Mr Sanders demonstrated the video. He showed the horses running down the back straight where Mr Cameron was racing three wide. As he passed the 1200 metres he shifted in and took the line of SALVATORE when not sufficiently clear. This movement forced M Coleman to also move in and in the process took the line of DUNKERQUE causing M/s Spratt to check her mount.
--As Mr Cameron has admitted the charge, the Committee has to adjudicate on penalty only.
--Mr Sanders said that Mr Cameron had an excellent record with no breaches of this Rule in the last twelve months. He asked for a suspension for a Rule breach at the lower end of the scale.
--Mr Cameron said he had commitments to ride on 18 April.
--After considering all of the evidence and taking into account Mr Cameron's excellent record, his admission of guilt and the level of interference, the Committee suspended Mr Cameron from race riding beginning after the finish of racing on 18 April until the finish of racing on 25 April 2009 (4 days).
