An information was filed pursuant to Rule 871 (4) by the informant Stipendiary Steward Mr A Coles. He alleged that Jockey Miss H Moki left the Jockeys’ Room and specified areas without the permission of the Stewards. Miss Moki did not admit the breach.
--Mr Coles said it was noticed by Chief Stipendiary Steward Mr C George that Miss Moki was seen in the car park in her riding gear.
--Miss Moki said she misunderstood the Rule and because she was not riding for some time thought she could leave the Jockeys’ area.
--Mr Coles submitted a fine of $200 - $300 would be appropriate.
--The Committee told Miss Moki she was clearly in breach of the Rule and therefore guilty.
