DECISION & REASON
--Following the running of Race No. 8 the Stipendiary Stewards lodged an information against Miss J L Burrows alleging a breach of Rule 864[2][d] in that the boring pole on step out came adrift over the early stages of the race.
----At the outset of the hearing Mr C Thornley confirmed that he was representing Miss Burrows. Written advice that the offence was admitted was confirmed. Accordingly the charge is found proven.
----Mr Escott advised the Committee that the normal fine for such an offence was $100 and that there are no factors in this instance that he would make further submissions on. Mr Thornley asked that Committee impose no monetary penalty.
