At the meeting held on 14th March 2008 an Information was presented to the Committee relating to the Amberley Racing Club meeting held on 29 February 2008.

The Information alleged a breach by M & P Moroney of Rule 508 (2) and (5) that being the trainers of Dahling they filed to clear a rider for the horse by the declared time.

At the outset of the meeting the Committee notes that the Defendants admit the breach and do not wish to appear, this being confirmed in writing. The breach is accordingly found proven.
----
Mr Ching advised the Committee that the connections of Dahling had failed to notify a rider by the required time and it was understood that it was simply an oversight on their part.
----
The Stipendiary Stewards sought a monetary penalty only and after giving consideration to the early guilty plea the Committee imposes a fine of $50.00.
