Decision:

Following the running of Race 3, the Robbie’s Bar & Bistro Elmwood Mobile Pace, an Information Instigating a Protest was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre alleging a breach of Rule 869(8).  It was alleged that “Hot Stuff” (2), driven by Mr R. J. Butt had caused interference to “Willoughby” (1) and “Allingoodtime” (4) with 900 metres to run.

Following the running of Race 3, the Robbie’s Bar & Bistro Elmwood Mobile Pace, an Information Instigating a Protest was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre alleging a breach of Rule 869(8).  It was alleged that “Hot Stuff” (2), driven by Mr R. J. Butt had caused interference to “Willoughby” (1) and “Allingoodtime” (4) with 900 metres to run.

Mr L. R. Hanrahan, the part owner of “Hot Stuff”, attended the hearing and he advised that he did not contest the protest.  Accordingly the protest was upheld and “Hot Stuff” was relegated to 13th place.  The amended places are as follows.

2nd –  Franco Turnaround (10) 
3rd –  Toast Mee (14)
4th –  Lady Killer (9)
5th –  Koau Brae (7)
6th –  No Courage Russell (8)
