The Committee were aware of Rule 857 (3.) which reads in part “if. on being weighed in, a rider cannot draw the proper weight the Clerk of Scales shall allow such rider 0.5kg and if the allowance is not sufficient to enable the proper weight to be drawn the horse shall be disqualified”.

They the Committee being mindful of the foregoing disqualified RUN LIKE AL as its rider had failed to draw the weight allotted.
