DECISION & REASON
--Following the running of race number 6 an information was lodged by the Stipendiary Stewards under Rule 865 (4) alleging that Mr McGrath, the trainer of Camsplace Wasza presented the horse on race day without the removable hood that it wore at its previous start at New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club on 31 August 2007.
----At the outset of the hearing Mr McGrath confirmed he understood the charge and admitted the breach.
----The breach is found proven.
----Ms Williams in respect of penalty said that the penalty imposed for such offence was a monetary one only and that it was normally in the range of $100.00.
----Mr acknowledged that the penalty suggested, in his view, was appropriate. A fine of $100.00 is imposed.
