--Following the running of Race 6, the Merial Ancare Eclipse Pour On For Cattle Mobile Pace, an information was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mrs K. R. Williams against Mr D. B. Earnshaw, the driver of “Hoon Hay” (9), alleging a breach of Rule 857(7)(g) in that he failed to come up to or maintain his position behind the mobile.
--Mr Earnshaw had indicated on the information that this breach of the Rules was admitted, and that he did not wish to attend the hearing. The Stipendiary Stewards recommended a fine of $200-00, and we were satisfied that this was an appropriate amount. Accordingly Mr Earnshaw was fined the sum of $200-00.
