--Mr Goodwin told the committee that Ms Murray telephoned him at 8:10am on the morning of the races saying that she wanted to scratch Goldan as the track conditions would not suit the horse.
--Ms Murray said that she did not know of the scratching rule as she had never had to scratch a horse prior to this.
--The committee expressed concern that as a licensed person Ms Murray did not know the proper procedure to scratching a horse. She was fined the sum of $200.00 and reminded of her responsibilities as a trainer.
