As a result of Mr C Davies not being able to make the contract weight for OUR HOLLY DAY in that he was 1.75 kg over the agreed weight, there was a charge preferred by Stipendiary Steward Mr S Ching pursuant to Rule 520 (4) (c) of the Rules of Racing.

Mr Ching has recommended that a fine of somewhere between $100 and $200 be imposed. We are going to impose a fine of $175, Mr Davies. In imposing that fine I might say that that is actually quite a lot below the level of fines that are generally imposed for this particular breach of the Rule. In setting the fine, we have taken your personal circumstances into account.
