Following race 9 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when it was alleged by the informant, Stipendary Steward Mr A Coles, that Mr B Lammas, rider of DAB committed a breach of that rule

Following race 9 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) when it was alleged by the informant, Stipendary Steward Mr A Coles, that Mr B Lammas, rider of DAB committed a breach of that rule when he angled his mount out when not the required distance clear of SAINT ZEDE, M Hills, making contact on several occasions.
--Mr Lammas, who was represented by Mr Gibbs, admitted the charge. The videos had been viewed in the previous protest and as Mr Lammas had admitted the charge there was only the penalty to consider.
--PENALTY: Mr Cole gave Mr Lammas' good record and said he considered the offence was at the lower end of the scale and asked for a 3 day suspension.
--Mr Gibbs and Mr Lammas had nothing to add.
--After due consideration the committee suspend Mr Lammas from the conclusion of racing on 29 January until the conclusion of racing on 6 February 2007. (3 days)
