| -- DECISION & REASON: --Mr Cooksley following race 2 was charged with careless riding under Rule 871(1)(d) namely approximately 200 metres from the finish angled CROSS LEASE outwards for a run when not clear of CLASS TORQUE who had to be eased to avoid the heels of CROSS LEASE. ----Mr Cooksley pleaded guilty. ----Mr A Coles, Stipendiary Steward, demonstrated the incident of the race videos. Mr Cooksley's mount moved outward when not sufficiently clear causing interference to CLASS TORQUE ridden by B Lammas. ----After hearing submissions from Mr Oatham on penalty we determine that a suspension be imposed. Mitigating factors: --
