Following the running of Race 3 Stipendiary Steward Mr JM Muirhead instigated a protest against the second placing of horse number 9 One Over Kenny

Following the running of Race 3 Stipendiary Steward Mr JM Muirhead instigated a protest against the second placing of horse number 9 One Over Kenny for galloping over approximately 50 metres at the conclusion of the race and being "lapped on".
----The Protest Hearing commenced at 7.27pm.
----One of the owners of the horse Mr L Williams acknowledged the actions of his horse and did not contest the protest. Mr Muirhead demonstrated the incident to the Committee by video film and this showed One Over Kenny galloping over the concluding stages of the race and being "lapped on" by number 1 Pompalliar.
----The Committee relegated number 9 One Over Kenny from second place to third place behind number 1. There was a considerable margin back to the fourth horse.
----The amended placings are now 2, 1, 9, 6, 5 and 3.
