--Mr Nyhan, through his partner Ms Cameron, admitted a breach of the Rule. She indicated that they had overlooked the matter. Riders were due to be declared at 4 pm Wednesday 11 March. The rider of PORTABELLO ROSE was not declared until 2.20 pm the following day.
--Mr Davidson asked for the standard fine of $50. However, Mr Nyhan has a previous breach of this Rule on 14 February last. In these circumstances we believe a fine of $75 is necessary in the interests of deterrence. Mr Nyhan is fined the sum of $75.
