Following the running of Race 3, PGG Wrightson Mobile Trot, an information was filed by Mrs K R Williams, Stipendiary Steward, against Licensed Trainer, Mr M P Edmonds, alleging that Mr Edmonds, as the trainer of ARCEEJAY, "failed to present ARCEEJAY with the correct number saddle cloth to parade".

DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 3, PGG Wrightson Mobile Trot, an information was filed by Mrs K R Williams, Stipendiary Steward, against Licensed Trainer, Mr M P Edmonds, alleging that Mr Edmonds, as the trainer of ARCEEJAY, "failed to present ARCEEJAY with the correct number saddle cloth to parade".
----Mr Edmonds had signed the Statement by the Defendant endorsed on the information form acknowledging that he admitted the breach and that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of the information. Accordingly, the breach was found proved.
----Mrs Williams stated that Mr Edmonds had explained that he had horse No.12 in Race 1. The No.12 saddlecloth had been put over the rail and a rug put on top of it. Mr Edmonds had not geared ARCEEJAY up but whoever did had put the No.12 saddlecloth on as it was the only one that person would have seen. The correct saddlecloth was No.6.
----Mrs Williams recommended a fine of $200 which, she said, had been discussed with Mr Edmonds before he signed the information form.
----Mrs Edmonds was fined the sum of $200.
