A protest was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr Paul Knowles, under Rule 870 (4) (a) Breaking Horse Regulations, alleging that in the home straight ANNS INVASION (no. 13) broke for approximately 80 metres.
--Miss K Barclay, driver of ANNS INVASION, did not contest the protest (after viewing the film).
--Mr Allison showed several video clips of the alleged incident, which clearly showed ANNS INVASION breaking for at least 80 metres.
--The Committee upheld the protest and the Official Judges' placings now read :

--2nd 10

--4th 11
--5th 7
--6th 12
--Horse no. 13 ANNS INVASION was disqualified.
