Following Race 7 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) in that Ms S Spratt permitted her mount ALLYMOOR to shift inwards near the 1200 metres when not sufficiently clear of SHARPIN

DECISION & REASON:
--Following Race 7 an information was filed pursuant to Rule 871(1)(d) in that Ms S Spratt permitted her mount ALLYMOOR to shift inwards near the 1200 metres when not sufficiently clear of SHARPIN (C Lammas) who was checked.
--Ms Spratt who was represented by Mr R Cameron, admitted the charge.
--Mr J Oatham demonstrated the video, which showed Ms Spratt on ALLYMOOR who had drawn the outside stall, approaching the turn into the straight with SHARPIN on her inside. As she made the turn she could be seen to cut the corner and in doing so she took the line of SHARPIN, forcing Mr Lammas to check his mount.
--As Ms Spratt has admitted the charge we have to adjudicate on penalty only.
--Mr Coles gave Ms Spratt's record which he said was a good one. He asked for a suspension of four days.
--Mr Cameron said he felt the interference looked worse than it really was. Ms Spratt concurred with him.
--The committee after taking into account -
