--It was alleged that DUX who was in a break when the finish line was reached, was lapped on to the 5th placed BELLWAY.
--Mr Mitchell, who represented the connections, did not contest the protest.
--Mr Taumanu produced the photo finish print which confirmed BELLWAY being lapped on by DUX

--The committee is satisfied that when the finish was reached DUX was off stride and lapped on to BELLWAY.
--Therefore DUX is relegated from 4th to 5th placing with the amended placing’s as follows;
--1st ENDEAVOR
--2nd SOMERTON BEAU
--3rd MONARO MISS
--4th BELLWAY
--5th DUX
