DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 3 an information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mrs K. R. Williams against Mr K. N. Larsen, licensed trainer of Jaccka Ewen (9), alleging a breach of Rule 306. It was alleged that Mr Larsen failed to advise who was looking after Jaccka Ewen in his absence from this race meeting. Mr C. T. Dalgety advised that Mr Larsen admitted this breach of the Rules, and also advised that neither Mr Larsen nor himself would be attending the hearing.
--Mrs Williams recommended a fine of $50-00 for this breach. I was satisfied that this was an appropriate fine and Mr Larsen is fined the sum of $50-00.
