----Mr STORMONT admitted the charge and was present for the hearing
----Evidence was given by Mr Taumanu referring to video evidence of the latter stages of the race
----This showed Mr Stormont striking Son Of Soken in excessof 25 times over the last 400 metres of the race
----Mr Stormont freely admitted his guilt and apologised for his behaviour which was uncharacteristic and was brought about by a sense of frustration with the poor performance of his drive
----Taking into account his untarnished driving record the recommended fine of $200 was applied
