The Committee imposed a suspension upon Mr Dyke for three (3) months beginning on the 4th August 2008. A request was then made by Mr Ryan on behalf of Mr Dyke to defer the onset of the suspension. There was a telephone conference between counsel and the Committee chairman on Friday afternoon the 1st August. Submissions were heard from both parties. In the result the Committee now rules that the suspension will commence on Friday 8th August and run for three (3) months until the 8th November 2008.
