Following the running of race 2 an information alleging a breach of rule 867 was lodged the information alleged that Mr B Lee the trainer/Driver of "Doctor McCool" , failed to keep his foot in the foot rest during the run home .

--Rule 867, Every horseman shall drive throughout the race with both feet in the rests of the sulky provided for that purpose.
--Mr B Lee admitted the breach of this rule and signed the information that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of this information.
--Mr Taumanu for Mr Muirhead made submissions on penalty and sought a $100 .00 fine .
--Decision and Reasons.
--Having taken into consideration the submissions made by Mr Taumanu and also Mr Lees admission of the breach of this rule a fine of $100.00 was imposed in this instance.
