--Following the running of Race 9, the Great Menu @ Bailie’s Restaurant Handicap Trot, an Information Instigating a Protest was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren alleging a breach of Rule 870(3) and the “Breaking Horses” Regulation by “Iona Eyre” (3), driven by Mr A. M. Butt, which finished in 3rd place.

DECISION AND REASONS:
--Following the running of Race 9, the Great Menu @ Bailie’s Restaurant Handicap Trot, an Information Instigating a Protest was filed by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. M. Ydgren alleging a breach of Rule 870(3) and the “Breaking Horses” Regulation by “Iona Eyre” (3), driven by Mr A. M. Butt, which finished in 3rd place.
--Mr Butt advised that he would represent the interests of the trainer and owners of “Iona Eyre”.
--Mr Ydgren used video coverage to show that “Iona Eyre” had broken from its gait about 80 metres from the finish, and was still in a break at the winning post.
--Mr Butt advised that the protest was not contested. The protest was therefore upheld, and “Iona Eyre” was disqualified from its third placing.
--The amended places are as follows
