Stipendiary Steward Mr S. P. Renault has filed an Information against Licensed Trainer Mr B. R. Hill alleging a breach of Rule 865(4) and the Approved Gear Regulations. It was alleged that Mr Hill failed to advise that his horse “Lady Killer” (9) would be wearing pull down blinds.

--Mr Hill had indicated on the information that this breach of the Rules was admitted, and that he did not wish to attend the hearing. The Stipendiary Stewards recommended a fine of $50-00 in this case, and we were satisfied that this was an appropriate amount. Accordingly Mr Hill was fined the sum of $50-00.
