The connections of "Dr Galleon" did not attend the hearing, but they did not contest that the horse had broken from its gait for more than 50 metres in the last 200 metres of the race, or that it should be disqualified. Stipendiary Steward Mr S. P. Renault used video coverage to show this incident. Accordingly "Dr Galleon" was disqualified from its 4th place.
