Mr Johnson you?ve admitted a breach of Rule 520(4)(b) in that you permitted yourself to be engaged to ride both SOUTH WARRIOR and GIBSON?S CHOICE in race 2, and both SUMMAWAVE and WALNUT in race 7.
----The breach arose as a consequence of your partner, Ms Belinda Middlewood, twice accepting rides for 2 horses in the same race. In the first instance there is the somewhat mitigating circumstance that you believed that the race would be divided, otherwise there is little by way of explanation, with Ms Middlewood being in Christchurch today and unable to give evidence before us.
----Mrs Stuart has stressed the inconvenience this matter has caused her and has said that your actions are unprofessional. We agree.
----Again we give credit for your admission of the breach and your good record with respect to this rule. We fine you the sum of $200. We remind you of your obligations under the Rules of Racing.
