Following the running of race 8 an information alleging a breach of rule 865 (1) & (2) was lodged the information alleged that the training partnership of W & M Pemberton failed to notify a change of gear for Cullermein. This horse having raced with removeable ear plugs at the Auckland Trotting Clubs meeting on the 23/ 02 07.This horse was presented in the assembly area with half blinds & removeable ear plugs.
--For the training partnership Mr. W E Pemberton admitted the breach and indicated on the information that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of this information.
--Mr. Van Kan sought a fine of $100.00 in this instance.
--Decision and Reasons.
--Having taken into consideration the admission of the breach by Mr. Pemberton and also the submissions made by Mr. Van Kan a fine of $100.00 was imposed.
