--An information lodged by Stipendiary Steward, Mr J Muirhead, against Mr J Cox, Junior Driver of PRESIDENTIAL SWEET alleging a breach of Rule 857(7)(g) in that he failed to have his horse up on the mobile barrier at the start of the race.
--Mr Cox admitted the breach and did not wish to be present at the hearing.
--Mr Muirhead demonstrated the incident by use of the video film. PRESIDENTIAL SWEET was about two lengths out of position at the start. Mr Muirhead recommended the standard fine of $100.
--Mr Cox had no relevant breaches of the rules recorded against him.
--The Committee imposed a fine of $100.
