R Eynon, the rider of BUSHMAN admitted a breach of Rule 871 (1) (D) in that he allowed his mount to shift in dictating ASSET STRIPPER’S movement inwards over the final 100 metres.
--Mr Eynon informed the stipendiary steward he did not wish to be present at the hearing and that if suspended he asked for the seven day rule to be implemented as he wished to ride at both days of the Grand National Carnival. This was confirmed by stipendiary steward A Coles to the committee.
--Mr Coles asked for a four day suspension.

DECISION AND REASON
--In coming to our decision to suspend Mr Eynon for four riding days we have taken into account his guilty plea, and his wish to ride at the Carnival in Christchurch.
--Mr Eynon is suspended from race riding from the completion of racing on Saturday 9 August until the completion of racing on Thursday 21 August.
