Following the running of Race 7 an Information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr T Taumanu alleging that Trainer Mr W RICH had failed to properly affix the front hopple carrier strap on SHEZA LADY
| -- Following the running of Race 7 an Information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr T Taumanu alleging that Trainer Mr W RICH had failed to properly affix the front hopple carrier strap on SHEZA LADY, so as not to come adrift which as a result caused SHEZA LADY to break causing interference to Original Sin with both horses losing all chance ----Mr Rich admitted the charge and was present for the Hearing ----Evidence was given by Stipendiary Steward Mr J Muirhead with reference to Videos of the Start of Race 7 --which showed Sheza Lady breaking at the start of the race and causing interference to Original Sin before progressing to the outside of the track . Neither horse ran in the first 6 places. ----Mr Rich openly conceded his fault and following submissions by both parties on penalty and taking into account his early admission, obvious cooperation in the enquiry and his clear history he was fined $200.00 -- |
