Both horsemen were shown videos of the alleged incident and Mr Driver conceded he had inconvenienced Mr Jones’ horse, and cost that horse more than the ¾ of a length the margin it was beaten for 3rd.

As there were time restraints (18 minutes between races) the Chairman immediately used his discretionary power and placed “Nightime Magic” behind “Inaugural Man”.

The amended placings were 10-1-2-4-6-5. The judges placings had been 10-4-1-2-6-5.
