--Mr Fields admitted the breach.
--Mr Ching stated that Mr Fields had been having difficulty with his weight in recent times and was to commence a seven day suspension as from 17 March 2007.
--Mr Bellew, representing Mr Fields, asked the committee to consider a monetary fine, so that Mr Fields could regain his riding confidence, as opposed to a suspension.
--In fixing penalty, credit was given to Mr Fields’ guilty plea and his honesty regarding his weight predicament.
--Mr Fields was fined the sum of $300.00 and reminded of his professional obligations when accepting rides.
