Following the running of race 4 an information alleging a breach of rule 865 (1) (2) was lodged the information alleged that Trainer Mr R Fraser failed to notify a change of gear for the horse Blondie. This horse was presented to race with removable earplugs and half blinds. This horse raced with removable earplugs only at the Kumeu Trotting Club's meeting on the 13th March 2007.
--Mr Fraser admitted the breach of this rule and signed the information that he did not wish to be present at the hearing.
--Mr Van Kan sought a fine of $100.00 as per the accepted scale.
