DECISION AND REASONS:

Following the running of Race 1 an information was lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr N. G. McIntyre against Mr P. F. Kerr alleging a breach of Rule 864(2)(d) in that the nearside spreader came adrift from Pascale Bromac (1). Mr Kerr had indicated on the Information that he admitted the breach of this rule and that he did not wish to attend this hearing.

PENALTY: Mr McIntyre advised that Mr Kerr had no previous convictions for a similar offence, and that a fine of $100-00 would be appropriate in this case. We agree and Mr Kerr is fined the sum of $100-00.
