An information lodged by Stipendiary Steward Mr T. Taumanu against Mr J. Teaz trainer of COOL STORY alleging a breach of Rule 849(2) in that he presented the horse in the assembly area and onto the track with the incorrect saddle cloth. Mr Teaz admitted the breach of the rule and did not wish to be present at the hearing. Mr Taumanu explained the facts of the situation as outlined in the information. Mr Taumanu said Mr Teaz had no relevant breaches of the Rules recorded against him. He recommended the standard fine of $200.00 be imposed. The Committee accepted that submission and imposed a fine of $200.00.
