--Following the running of race number10 an information was laid by the Stipendiary Stewards against M Purdon, the trainer of Likmesiah. The information alleged that Mr Purdon failed to present Likmesiah with the same or identical gear in the assembly area as the gelding raced in on the 15th October 2006 at the Methven Harness Racing Club ? 12 day rule.
----At the outset of the hearing it was noted that the defendant had, in writing, advised that he admitted the breach and did not wish to appear.
----The Stipendiary Stewards sought a monetary penalty only. A fine of $100 was imposed.
